Effect: The magician takes out a deck, and asks a spectator to look at one of the cards and read it silently. The magician then fans the cards to show their faces to the spectator. The spectator gets very confused. Because, all the cards have the same face. After the cards are thoroughly shown, the magician places the deck into the case to ensure that he cannot touch the cards anymore. Then he states he will read the card from the spectator's mind. It sounds just a joke to the spectator. Since all the cards have the one same face, anyone could guess the selection. However, the magician tries to read the spectator's mind with great seriousness, putting his hand over alternatively between the spectator and the deck. The magician says he has got the answer, takes the deck out of the case again, and picks a card from the deck. Showing the back of the card, the magician says it must be the spectator's card, and the spectator complains that is too easy. The magician asks for the reason, and them the spectator explains there has been just one kind of cards. But the magician denies. He says there has been only "one card", not "one kind of cards."
