…… Who is crazy？ You？ or Me? EFFECT: Magician takes three cards out of the deck. Show the both sides of each card one by one. At this point the faces should be displayed clearly and openly to the spectator. Then place them face down on the table. In this case, the spectator would be convinced those cards are the Five of Clubs, the Six of Hearts and the Seven of Spades. Then ask the spectator to play a game, telling “The possibility of your win would be 99.9%! I have little hope”. Start to turn the two cards to show the face, even before mixing three cards. Show first the Five of Clubs, then the Seven of the Spades. Now one card remains unturned. This card could be the Six of Hearts! There would definitely no chance the magician wins! Magician turns this card only to discover it is not the Six of Hearts. It has disappeared! The card showed up is that was not among them. Totally clean! No more than three cards! Nothing is thrown away! Add nothing! Not required a close-up mat! Wearing half-sleeves and no place to hide something! Not the chemistry! No palm! Without an assistant! INTRODUCTION: ...The standard “Three Card Monte” is now one of the basic routine of the card magic. The beginners and even the kids could perform it easily. Among many variations, particularly, the “Card Monte 2000”by Henry Evans would be the most mysterious masterpiece. I also appreciate the “Moving Point” that enables to change ‘only a part of card’. It contains a magnificent idea and the exquisite effect. Still we had a passion to create another effect using only three cards, in which the card changes to totally different one while the spectator follows the each cards without withdrawing his gaze.
